Indian Air Force has issued recruitment news regarding various Jobs for Post Graduates as Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Non-technical) Meteorological Branch through course.

Training will start in the first week of January 2018. Duration of training for Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branch is 52 weeks at Air Force Academy.

Post Name: Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC)

Qualification Required: Post Graduation in any Science stream / Maths /Computer /Statistics / Geography / Applications / Environmental Science / Applied Physics / Oceanography / Meteorology / Agricultural Meteorology / Ecology & Environment / Geo-physics /Environmental Biology scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (provided Physics &  Maths and were in graduation with 50% marks).

Age Limit: Maximum 26 years as on 1st January 2018.

Height : For Male 157.5 cms & for women 152 cms.(5 cms elaxation for hilly region & Lakshdweep candidates).

Salary: Rs.68,550 per month.
