8000 PGT, TGT, PRT Job Vacancies in Army Schools (AWES)

Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has issued recruitment notification for the year 2016, inviting applications for 8000 PGT, TGT, PRT Job Vacancies in Army Schools across India.

1.Post Graduate Teacher (P.G.T)

• Vacancies : 1600
• Qualification: Candidates must have done Master in the relevant subject and B.ED scoring at least 50% marks. In case of computer teacher B.Ed is not required and B.E/ B,.Tech/ MCA/ MS.c / BCA/ B.Sc DOEACC B level candidates are eligible.

2. Trained Graduate Teacher (T.G.T)

• Vacancies: 4000
• Qualification: Candidates must have done Masters  and B.Ed. scoring at least 50% marks.  + CTET (those who don’t have CTET are also eligible and will remain on Adhoc basis till they clear CTET).

3. Primary Teachers (PRT)

• Vacancies: 4000
• Qualification: Candidates must have done Graduation and B.Ed. scoring at least 50% marks.  / 2 year diploma.

Age Limit  (all posts):

• PGT : Maximum 40 years ( 36 years for NCR schools)
• TGT/ PRT : Maximum 40 years ( 29 years for NCR schools)
• For candidates having more than 5 years teaching experience , maximum age is 57 years.

Examination Fee:  Rs. 600 to be paid through Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Cards.

Selection Process: Preliminary & Main exam + Interview
