Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has published notification in today’s employment news ie; 15 – 21 July 2017, inviting applications for 17 Technical & Security Posts in Mumbai (Maharashtra).

1.Jr. Mechanic / Jr. Laboratory Assistant / Jr. Technician

• Vacancies: 13-UR
• Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000 .
• Qualification: 3 years Engineering Diploma in the appropriate discipline and 2 years relevant experience OR ITI in appropriate trade with relevant experience of 5 years after the ITI. OR Graduate degree (other than B.Tech./ B.E) in the relevant discipline.

2.Assistant Security Inspector 

• Vacancies: 4 (1-SC,2-UR, 10-BC [NCL] & )
• Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400 .
• Qualification: Graduate  degree with 3 years security related experience. Candidates must also have a valid driving license for light motor vehicle and motor cycle. Preference for Ex-serviceman candidates.
