The Indo-Tibetian Border Police Force (ITBPF) has issued recruitment notification in Employment News 27 September 2014, regarding 229 Head Constable vacancies.

Name of the Post: Head Constable (Telecom.)
Total Posts: 229 (General- 116, OBC- 62, ST-17, SC- 34) 10% for Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualification: 12th (P,B,M) / 10th with 2 years ITI/ 10th with 3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science.
Age Limit: From 18 to 25 years as on 24-10-2014 and relaxation for reserved category candidates.
Physical Criteria: Minimum Height should be 170 cm (162.5 cm in case of ST ). Chest:80 (expanded-85cms), for ST candidates 76cms (-81 cms expanded). 6/6 & 6/9 without correction & glasses on both eyes.
Application Fee: Rs.50/- needs to be paid in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS) stamps.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400 and allowances.
Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates will have to go through 5 Kms race to be completed in 24 minutes.
