University of North Bengal has issued notification regarding 33 Faculty vacancies.

1.Professor

• Vacancies: 7
• Educational Qualification:  Ph.D. degree in the relevant /allied / relevant discipline with a number of high quality research publications in reputed journals/publication of books.
• Experience: 10 years teaching experience out of which at least 5 years should be of P.G. teaching.
  Research guidance of doctoral students.
• Scale of Pay: Rs.37,400-67,000 + AGP of Rs. 10,000.

2.Associate Professor

• Vacancies: 8
• Educational Qualification:  Ph.D. degree in the concerned /allied / relevant disciplines and Master’s in concerned / allied / disciplines.
• Experience: 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic /research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor.
• Scale of Pay: Rs.37,400-67,000 + AGP Rs. 9,000.

3.Assistant Professor

• Vacancies: 18
• Educational Qualification:  Master’s degree/  P.G. degree holders in Management, P.G. degree holders in Economics and Commerce .
• Scale of Pay:  Rs.15,600-39,100 + AGP Rs. 6,000.
