Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

 

A Lower Division Clerk (LDC) is a clerical post in Indian Gvernment offices. Major recruiters for LDC positions are Defence, Ministries etc. After completing 3-5 years one can get promoted to Upper Division Clerk(UDC) and so on.

 

LDC Eligibility Criteria

 

To give exam for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) exam, a candidate must have the following qualifications:-

  • – Should have passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board /university.

 

  • – Should have English typing speed on the computer @ 35 words per minute or hindi typing speed on computer @ 30 words per minute .

 

Age Limit: From 18 to 27 years. Relaxation in upper age for reserved categories.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900.

 

LDC Exam Scheme

 

Candidates have to clear the written test first and only those who pass this test go through typing speed test.
