Online registration  for the   Air Force Common Admission Online Test (AFCAT) 2018 is open from will be  16th June 2018 to 15th July 2018.

Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for the year 2017, inviting applications from Graduates & Post Graduates. Courses will commence in July 2018 for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches.

Qualification Required:  B.Com/ B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc/ MCA/ MBA/ MA/ M.Sc OR any Graduate degree + cleared section A & B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers .

Height Required: For Male candidates 157.5 cms & for women candidates 152 cms. Relaxation of 5cms for hilly region candidates.

Salary: –

• Flying Branch : Rs.85,372 per month.
• Ground Duty (Tech) Branch: Rs.74,872 per month.
• Ground Duty (Non-tech) Branch: Rs.71,872 per month.

Insurance Cover: Rs.75 Lakh Insurance Cover (on contribution) is applicable for serving officers. Additional cover of Rs.10 Lakh (on contribution) for Flying Branch Officers.

Selection Process: Written test, Group Discussion and Interview.
