Central Govt Jobs also known as Kendra Sarkar are those that come under the direct control of Central Government instead of state and these are Indian Army, Navy, Indian Railway, Police, CAPF/ CRPF, Central water Commission and more .

Jobs in Central Government is considered top most as the facilities and work environment is better than State Government. For the recruitment in Central Government various exams are conducted by boards like Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Service Selection Commission (SSC), Combined Defence Services Examination(CDS). These exams are carried in phases where first phase is preliminary exam followed by final exam.

The Cantonment of Army and Army Schools in every city offers teaching posts. Engineering candidates prefer to work in Central Labs and ISRO as they provide maximum career growth.
